Often, we tend to see only the long way ahead but not what we have achieved. Now that your action is completed, it is important to celebrate all your successes and find the motivation for further activities and new goals.
So, gather all the pictures you have taken, all the back-stage videos you have recorded, and any other material you may want to share with the world. Use them to make a post or write a report for a local agency press, and say it proudly: “We did this!”
By the way, we know goodbyes are too sad. That is why we will not say it at all and encourage you to start a new cycle. What will be your next change?

- Have you celebrated each small step forward?
- If you weren’t a member of your group, what would you say to yourself?
- How are you going to thank all the people and organization representatives who took part in your activity?
- How will you share the results of your action?
- Are you going to hand out some gadgets to the people who supported you?
- Are you planning a way to chill out and spend some spare time together?

Do you remember the people who inspired you in step 5? Now, your group will have the unique opportunity to inspire other wannabe changemakers. Record a podcast or write a blog where you’ll share your experience so that they will be able to know more about you and your activities.

Defeats must be celebrated even more than victories. If something went wrong or not as planned, that means you have lived an experience that teaches you something and that you will never forget.
3
Don’t lose contact with the people who took part in your action. Their stories and advice will be a precious treasure you’ll cherish forever.

Young Changemakers from Verona, Vicenza, and Trento decided to celebrate the successful realization of their flashmob. They gathered in a park and had some snacks bought from a local social enterprise and spent some time chatting and chilling to the sound of the music played by an Italian songwriter who improvised some songs about the event they had just finished. It was a precious time to get to know each other better and realize how many wonderful like-minded people they could meet with an act of activism.
