Trust and respect have always been the two essential keywords within your group. Don’t forget how significant they are, as this is time to talk about the outcome of your action and go over it with a fine-tooth comb.
Take some time to get your personal opinions about what you have just experienced and when you feel ready and confident with your conclusions, share your view with the other members of your group. Once again, it is very important that all the members have the possibility to express their considerations and that every voice is heard. Be honest, make constructive criticism, but always in a kind and respectful way.
Do you remember the SMART requirements? Now you’ll check if you concretely fulfilled them with your action. And if you haven’t, don’t feel demoralized. No matter what the outcome is, there is no room for failure as far as you have got involved and attempted at making a positive contribution to our planet. Changemakers do fail. Still, they fail like a champion – It’s not the winning that counts, but how you play the game.
Even though your action has already been performed, don’t skip this step for any reason. It will be essential to understand your strengths and weaknesses, in order to organize new activities, undertake a new goal, or be the engine for a new change. Don’t you know the game has just begun?

- Did all members of the group feel equally engaged in the action?
- What kind of feedback did you receive from the participants in the activity?
- How can you learn from your mistakes?
- Have things generally gone the way you had planned?
- Do you think there are specific reasons why something didn’t go the way you had planned?
- Have you reached the group of people you intended to reach?

1
Write down your general conclusions on the way you organized your action and put it into practice.
2
Analyze your action both from a quantitative (how many people participated, etc.) and qualitative (have they enjoyed participating, etc.) point of view.
3
Make a colorful poster where you write, draw, or paint the funniest memories you have of your action.

Young changemakers from Warsaw had the idea of arranging a meeting to paint banners presenting all Global Goals by the UN and march with them during the Pride Parade. The group had promoted the event through their social media channels but managed to reach just a small number of people. In the end, just two people showed up to help with the banners. Nonetheless, the group managed to paint all the banners and presented them during the Pride Parade, where thousands of people had the chance to see them!
Instruments
What about creating a questionnaire for all the members of the group to fill in before discussing the outcome all together?
Are you fed up with using your computer? Write down your answers on some pieces of paper and put it in a box. Have a drink, make a toast, and read one piece each.

You can learn something from every situation, that’s how you become a successful changemaker over time. Are you a hundred percent certain of having examined your action thoroughly? Make sure you find at least three positive and successful aspects and three you could have improved or avoided.
Do you all agree about those six aspects? Now, take it easy. Go to step 8 and just relax.
